We Are Rosie, a remote-based marketing talent cloud, wanted to expand their footprint as the leading voice for the future of work. The core to that footprint was enabling their over 4,000 freelancers and independent consultants in their roster to be the industry’s next thought leaders.
They tapped me to lead editorial and content strategy, effectively playing the role of founding Editor-In-Chief of The Rosie Report. I saw the potential for TRR to be The Players Tribune for our community: freelancers and consultants rarely have the resources to pen thoughtful pieces on topics like innovation, creativity, inclusion, or prosperity. Not only did I build out the editorial guidelines for the platform, I curated, edited pieces, consulted a number of first-time thought leaders, and helped manage flow of content for TRR’s first two months of existence.
After those months, I handed off the reins to two capable Editors-in-Residence, who’ll carry and expand the vision for The Rosie Report in six-month cycles.
